Much Ado About Nothing, is it really about Nothing?

Much Ado About Nothing, by William Shakespeare sometime around 1599, can be categorized as a romantic comedy.  It has the classic format of the two main love interests meeting in the beginning and falling for each other, then conflict and deceit, then they have a moment of hatred and distrust for each other, then back to being in love- with many hysterical moments spread throughout to keep the audience laughing through the characters’ drama.
